Wildlife Series (2011 - 2013)
The Canadian Wildlife Silver Bullion Coins are a Royal Canadian Mint struck series containing reverse imagery dedicated to the abundant wildlife of Canada. This series features a total of six unique silver bullion coins released by the Mint over a three year period. Coins in the series are each minted to the exacting standards collectors and investors have come to expect from the Royal Canadian Mint for their bullion products including a composition of .9999 fine silver. In addition, while the Wildlife Coins are designed for investors, an extremely limited mintage of only 1,000,000 coins per design has many collectors interested as well. Consequently, the Mint’s network of bullion dealers have been known to request the entire mintage of the bullion pieces before they are even introduced to the public by the Mint. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, created in 2003 by Canadian portrait artist Susanna Blunt.
